Our story

Asalamu Alaykum Warahmatollah Wa Barakatu!
Being a mum to four girls I quickly became aware of the lack of modest fashion for young girls in Western countries. I shopped for shorts in the boys section, sized up to try and get a skirt or dress with adequate length, layered with bike shorts and leggings. It was a real stress.
When my eldest daughter started attending madrasah (Islamic 'sunday school') I scrambled to put outfits together that made her feel both comfortable and confident in her Muslim identity. We struggled with ill-fitting and cheaply made hijabs. It was then, back in 2012 that the idea for Ehsan Look was born.
My garments can be worn by anyone of any faith, hijab or no-hijab, the overall fits are modest and airy. Together I hope we can help our girls embrace their inner beauty through modest dressing (and through this, self-love!).
